Becki Newton

Becki was born in Guilford Connecticut. She began appearing in local plays and summer stock shows at the age of 13. She was a student of European History at the University of Pennsylvania and during that when she was able to spend several months abroad. Becki was immediately moved to NYC after graduating to pursue Broadway. Following her appearance in many national commercials and guest starring parts, such as Cold Case (2003), Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (1999), and American Dreams (2002), she landed the role of Amanda on Ugly Betty (2006). She is married to Chris Diamantopoulos and has a brother that is Matt Newton. Most beautiful women that I see are not necessarily supermodels. I'm blessed that I can delegate the work to pros when it comes to work and red carpet events since I'm not able to say I'm skilled. But, I do not like taking chances when it comes to fashion. Glamour makes you happy! Making the right preparations for your day is not about being unruly. More about self-care. I've learned there's no harm in being a little snobby.
